" SO MANY EYES ON ME "

It is not just you my earth sister or my earth brother - Many, many eyes are on all of us including our own eyes that have to be on ourselves as well, examining ourselves in these troublesome times just to make it through each day as we travel down the not so smooth road of our lives. Sometimes life can reflect itself like a tight rope that we are walking on, which does not gives us a lot of room to keep us from falling. We all have to be so careful of slipping, that is why we have to hold very tight to God's hands.

We are now living in the heights of so many technological advancements, cameras like the eyes of big brother or the not so nice boss looking, and watching movements of all sort. Thinking of this phenomena in a positive way would generate a sense of protection for us all, and as the saying goes, only the bad guys is nervous of the cops. Many other eyes of jealous people, church members trying to watch everybody else but themselves, families that want to be up in somebody else business, and if children are being raised be mindful of those eyes.

We would like at this time to emphasize the most important eyes, guess who?---------- --------
Did you guess or give up! Let us read together a few scriptures and see if we can all be on one accord concerning whose eyes we all should be more concern about. Proverbs 15:3 reads, " The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on those who are evil and those who are good." take it easy, lets read some more. so many version of the Bible, but they are all good for us. In the King James version it read, " The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good."

Psalms 34:15 David is quick to acknowledge this fact even considering his own life experience, but his inspirational writing is such a blessings to us. He writes, " The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry." And we should all know that David speak from experience in many of his writings that is beneficial to all of us. 1Peter 3:12 reads, " For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil." Personally, it does not take a lot of scriptures to convince me of things concerning God. There are many more scriptures that could be quoted, but can I assume that the evidence is clear that the most important eyes that we should all be mindful of, is the eyes of the LORD. I rest my case concerning that matter.

Here now I will place on the table of our conscious minds and hearts the need for a very essential activity. Let us read together from the Bible book of 2 Corinthians 13:5 " Examine yourselves, wether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves, know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates."   This scripture should spark the thought of our own eyes being on ourselves and how each of us are functioning as individuals, and if we proclaim to be soldiers in the army of the Lord, and so others that have their eyes on us, can clearly see the difference of our way of life and the world.

Let us read 1 John 2:15-17, " Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."  This scripture is not advocating that we does not live the best Godly life that we can as long as we are here in the flesh, the emphasis is not allowing our hearts to dwell  on the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, because at the end of the day when our name is called from beyond the sky, we all have to give an account.

A thought on self examination! It is suggested that self examination should be intentional. A specific time should be set aside to examine one own life. A place where you can be alone does work best. And we have to be specific, and be honest in our heart to God because He sees and know everything, that is why the woman that Jesus met at the well could not use phycology on him, because Jesus already knows her life history. We should humble ourselves and ask the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to see what is really going on in our lives.

And in conclusion of this very important subject about the many eyes and the most important one to be mindful of, the suggestion, and encouragement is for all of us to consider the counseling of the Bible, the best book in this world in my opinion.  Self examination has always been a vital component of what it means to grow in grace before our Creator and the most Awesome God. Let us read the Bible as much as we can, and  learn from the experience of people in the old testament, the new testament and even people around us everywhere on this planet. In the book of Lamentation 3:40-43 those people then lamented greatly over the wrongs things that they had done before God.

God is so very good and merciful unto us , He inspired and allow the Holy Spirit to give all the information that He knows that we will need as we travel down our individual pathway of life. A very good guide line that we all need to associate ourselves with, is the knowledge and understanding of, Galation 5:22-23 it reads, " But the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE: against such there is no law." I was just inspired to sound each of these qualities a little louder so I put them in caps because they are so important for our self examination. No person righteousness can be share with another, God is dealing with all of us as individuals.

If you have made it through the reading, and scriptures down to this point, I now say thank you. I hope some thing was said just to encourage your heart and inspired your spirit to continue growing in the words and admonition of God.
